Just 89 Kms from San José, in the heart of Esparza, in the province of Puntarenas, and in the middle of the Central Pacific, is the brand new Parque Aventura Río Barranca. This park offers its visitors the chance to enter into contact with nature and live out the adventure and thrill of each one of its attractions and recreational areas, designed for  an all -ages public. This adventure park has  been developed in the middle of a private tropical dr y forest, in transition, on more than 30 hectares  (90 acres). The park has several beautiful pathways, and a panoramic view of the br eathtaking Gulf of Nicoya and the Barranca River, which are some of Costa Rica’s top sights to see. Likewise, the mountain systems that surround the pr oject allow for an incredible natural and scenic view, as that of the centennial Ceiba Tree (Kapok), which serves as the main axis of the park.
